Removal and replacement
When patching stops being worth it, take it out and fix what is underneath.
Full replacement is the most expensive thing on this list, so it is worth being sure you need it. Plenty of surfaces that look finished are cosmetically rough over a base that is still sound, and those are patch-and-seal jobs, not tear-outs.
We would rather talk you into the cheaper repair and be here for the replacement in ten years than sell you the big job today.
Replacing the surface without fixing the cause buys you five years
If a driveway has broken up across most of its area, the asphalt is rarely the problem — it is the symptom. Something under it moved, usually because water got in and froze. Paving straight over that gets you a good-looking surface that fails again in the same places. We take the time to work out why the first one went, because otherwise you are just buying the same job twice.
