How a job runs
Seven steps, and you know where you are in them.
Most complaints about paving contractors are about not knowing what happens next. Here is the whole sequence.
- 01
Site walk
We look at the ground, the drainage and the access. Usually 20 minutes.
- 02
Written estimate
Scope, depths and price in writing. No verbal ballparks that move later.
- 03
Schedule
We give you a window and tell you if it moves. Weather runs this, not us.
- 04
Grading
Shape the surface so water leaves. Most failures start here, not in the asphalt.
- 05
Base
Crushed rock, compacted in lifts. The part you never see doing the actual work.
- 06
Paving
Hot mix laid and rolled while it is still hot enough to compact properly.
- 07
Final walkthrough
We walk it with you, cover cure time, and tell you when you can park on it.
Where we work
Kootenai County, and not much past it.
Staying inside a tight radius is why we can get to you. Windshield time is the thing that makes a small crew slow, so we don't chase work over the pass.
Schematic, not to scale.

Send a few photos and rough measurements and we can usually price small work without coming out. Bigger jobs get a site walk.
